SharePoint Documents Grid

By default, when SharePoint Integration is enabled on any entity in Dynamics CRM, you can access Associated grid from related entities. Some customers are interested in having it on the main form to avoid multiple clicks to navigate to the related documents entity.

It is now possible to add related documents grid on the main form from the PowerApps window.

  1. Navigate to Data à Tables and change the filter from default to All. Default gives all CDS entities. We want to enable documents grid on Case entity.

  2. Navigate to Case Entity à Forms and select Case form select Component à add 1 column tab and then select SubGrid

  3. Choose related records check box and then select Documents under table and All SharePoint Documents under default view.

  4. Save form and publish.
  5. Now Navigate to Case to check the case documents tab
